I have heard several different mods I can do for cold air intake and exaust. Should I go with a single or dual exhaust? I dont want it to be to loud.What did you find was the best bang for the buck?Would like to get better mpg with some of these mods. Any other opinions? Thanks

 

by changing the exhaust and adding a cold air filter will I have any problems with sensors?

I'm stilll debating a CAI intake for my 2500 5.7, I did cut out the y pipe on the ex and had a dynomax ultra flow muffler installed, it has a X design inside the mufler, 2 inlets, two out lets, performance is marginal, it's not that loud, but mileage is improving, not enough to cover the expense of swapping the ex system, but over time it will pay me back...

For all the conversions to improve mileage, you have to ask your self how much gas can you buy for the intail expense of trying to improve perfrormance and mileage...

If your rich, like to improve performance, than so be it..

What ever you do, don't get the exhaust out the back of the truck... It looks so much hotter getting it DUAL right behind each rear tire, plus you can **** off people at traffic lights too, Dodge's always sit higher and would sound so **** with the exhaust coming right into people's windows, Plus it lets them know that you mean business.....
