what's the longest you have gone with the stock brakes
Just swapped my stock 03 1500 brakes and rotors with slotted ones and EBC brake pads . What a differance !!!! Yet , with 3 years and 19k on the truck the pads were not that bad and and the rotors were alwright excepts for all the rust that made them a pain to remove. Has anyone had such luck with the OEM pads. Are they realy that good. I swear on the EBC's but just was curious.

I could have gone that much and more withmine.They were still in great but the truck breaking power sucked. After driving cars for the past 20 years, driving my truck threw me up for a loop. The weight of itdoesn't help either. So I went for the slotted and EBC's . Could have waited a couple of years but with kids , don't want to risk it. What I want to know , Has anyone had this same experiance with the OEM pads? If so I may consider the on my next brake pad change.
