Default 04 5spd shift *****

i gotta question for all those who drive a manual, how come its so difficult to take the stock shift **** off is there a trick because i feel like when i twist it im gonna break the shifter into the tranny. thanks.

I had problems with mine too LOL----the little button in the center with the shift pattern has to be pryed out gently, then there is a locking nut under it you have to remove, then it spins right off

catchmydrift, it worked i got it off and i put my hurst on there now so BUMP OFF
