Default de-badging???

are the badges just stuck on with 3m tape and easy to remove, or are they drilled into the body? anyone have any pics of theirs w/o the badges?

they are just stuck on with adhesive. i have all of mine off except the RAM 1500 on the doors, which will soon be off here in another day or so. then ill try to get a pic up of it, but im sure someone will already have a pic for you here soon.

easiest way to remove them is string (fishing line), googone (or equivalent), and a "plastic" razorblade

googone doesnt work for ****. you need something strong to get that off of there. go to a parts store or a paint store and get the 3M adhesive remover.
the best thing that I have used what R/C car fuel. it doesnt hurt the paint/clear coat at all and will take that adhesive stuff right off of there.

yeah, i used bug & tar remover haha it took about 1 1/2 hours, but it got the job done, heres some pics. I like it!! I just took off the SLT and RAM 1500 from the sides and the 4X4 on the back.

Wish I woulda known bout that before i did mine, i put a nice couple scrtaches in my truck,,body shop said they would have to paint the entire panels/door,,hopefully some1 can say otherwise

awesome- thanks for the help guys. i've also discovered that if you have any type of photo shop (i used ms picture it) which allows you to"clone" paint, then you can touch up any pics you have of your truck with the badge on to see what it would look like without. i'll post some pics of what mine would look like later today if i can...
