The I6 that you see in modern Ram spec sheets is the Cummins diesel,
so it really isn't a gasoline engine option,
although I do know one guy who several years ago who put a 4.0 I6 Jeep gasoline engine in a Dakota to replace a 3.9V6

The slant 6 engine used up to the early 1990's in Rams was a great engine for durability

Yea they got it wrong trust me those sights get it wrong. I searched for a rcsb 4.7L six speed on vehix it came up with 50 vehicles matching and not one of them was a rcsb or a 4.7L or a six speed all were quad or megas and hemis and autos. So I don't really trust them websites.

I think the only vehicle with an I-6 now the Chevy Trailblazers/GMC envoy. I had a TBwith the I-6, and itPulled pretty good. I also hadan 04 Ram V-6 at the same time. Wife didn't like the TB anymore so we traded them in.

I6 are known for better torque than the v6 but are usually heavier and harder to fit in the vehicle. The last I6 used was the 4.0L and that was in the jeeps. As for the listing, i see it all the time in newspapers by sales persons who know nothing about what they are selling. lol
