I have never tried vegatable oil and it ill be a first for me . I'll try that tommorow since I think it would be the least harsh to aply on plastic . thanks for the input guys.

3m Adhesive and Tar Remover. Anything else (kerosene, gasoline, diesel, etc) could lead to clear coat failure down the road. Sure it works faster but at whats cost(s)?

I did it today and the gasoline and vegatable oil worked like a charm . I made sure that I was in the shade so that the gas would not dry up so fast. I mixed the gas and vegi oil on a soft rag. This mixkept the gas from drying and making the clear coat dull out. Never though of it but the oil actualy prevented my handsand the mag from drying and getting chaped like it ussauly does when you handle gaswithout gloves. Used some clear coat wax afterwards and they look like new. Never though about the 3M tape but I'll try it next time. Hopefuly I won't have problems with the clearcout chipping since I didn't keep the gas on it for to long . thanks again guys.
