I'm looking at purchasing a 2004, 2005 or 2006 Ram 1500 4x4 quad cab with HEMI. Is it worth spending extra on a used 2006 or are the 2005 and 2004 models basically the same? I'm just starting to research this truck and would welcome any recommendations. Also looking for a web site that lists the specific changes the Ram underwent over the 3 year period.

 

The 2006 has a different front end, MDS in the engine, and a different interior, as well as different 20" wheels.

 

the front ends on the 04 and 05 are different and they do look better if you ask me......other then that they only real difference is that some of the 06's had mds which is where half the cylinders shut off...some like it and some dont......buy the truck u can find the best deal on with the lowest miles....that should make you happy
