Default 37in tires

I found a chart in a magazine that says that 37x12.5 should fit on my truck with 6 inches of lift. First, is there any truth to this. Second, my lift is a fabtech which i here is more like 4.5 in and not the 6 they claim. Finally, I have a 4.7 with 4.56 gears, superchips, flow master, cool air intake and headers. Does my truck have what it takes to still get up and go with tires this big? also i will answer the question before its asked. yes this is just for looks, no my truck will never see a dirt road or trail.

I have 35" tires on mine with a 6" lift I also have the 4.7L with 4.56 Yukon gears. The 35's fit sith no rubbing, if I put on 37's I would probably have to trim the front bumper a little because of the sport front bumper, but other than that, yeah they should fit.The truck has plenty of power to turn the 35's so I don't see 37's to be a problem. I can roast the 35's when I stomp on it.

How do you like the superchips? I have been really interested in purchasing one, but havent done so yet. Also which headers did you go with???

Re-gear to 4.88 and you will be fine with the 37's. Your truc will move them no problem.

BgBluRam - Can you get away with the 35" without having any lift to the truck?

I took off my factory 20" for the winter and went with 17" steel rims, and Toyo Tires as close as possible to my factory specs. There is miles of room, and the truck looks like something out of a Truck Pulls..lol

Does anyone know the Max Rim/ Aggressive tire I could get on a stock 2006 short box hemi Ram?

Thanks

Here is my Truck
