My hemi has no problem with hills and wind. It's just the gas gauge dropping like a rock that bugs me.
Hey man...been trying to find guys with the PWs to ask about that...big heavy truck, lots of extra gear and Hemi...do you think the Hemi is adaquate? I live in CO...want to buy either a PW (1st choice) or a Cummins truck. Will be doing some wheeling in it. I'm just afraid of underpower and wheeling...you know, having to rev the snot out of the motor at low speeds for a long period of time doesn't really interest me.

ps-coming off a power trip after selling a 12.8 second Dak R/T.
The gears were about $170 and install was $270.. Avg install is about $300... You can get them off of ebay, and many other performance websites. I bought mine from www.3rdstrike.com

i was told that if you change the gears in the rear, you have to change the gears in the front too. (on 4x4's).
Yes, you must because if you have 4.56's in the rear, and 3.55's in the front, then the rear is going to be spinning much faster than the front which will cause total destruction. The front and rear must turn at the same speed...

They sometimes do this on Off-road racing trucks. Never onpavement.
