Once I get home (currently away for school), I will get the truck cleaned up and snap some pics of the install. If you go with a setup, get the 3 or 5 gallon tank setup. Better compressors and more air storage that can be used for other things. After researching it after the fact, I would have gotten the same horns, just different compressor/tank setup.

hey Bigswede, how loud are the horns you got?
I noticed some companies sell a 115 decible system but that doesnt seem very loud to me considering the large train horn companies boast a 300 decible system.
Any company that claims a 300 decibel horn system is lying to you:
Windows break at about 163 dB. Jet aircraft cause A-weighted levels of about 133 dB at 33 m, or 100 dB at 170 m.
From the decibel page on Wikipedia. Nobody would make a horn that shatters glass and if they did it would be illegal.

I was thinking the same thing somerandomguy175, do I need an air tank? or will it work with just the horns and compressor? It would appear to me by the way that company describes it the compressor is already mounted to a small tank. Do I really need a larger tank if I only want a couple seconds blast?

Also some install pics would be great.
I was thinking of mounting the horns along the frame just behind the front bumper, but I havent come up with an idea for the compressor yet.

ever thought about a small nitrogen tank, it wouldnt take so much room or no wiring of a compressor.

I went with the kit that I showed the link to. It came with the horns and all wiring along with the compressor/3 liter tank combo. It is more than enough for short blasts or one pretty good long blast. Once I get some time, I will get pics. It may not be until I get back home the first part of April. I know, not the answer you were looking for, but the best one I ahve for now.
