hey new to the website and thought i'd post pics of my ride

dont have the money for new rims and wanted to see how black rims would look so i painted the stockers







what i got rid of to get my new truck

 

Nice truck , and the rims look good! The colors go together well.

 

Nice job on the rims. I got the 20's just because I didn't like the looks of the stock 17's...now I'm kinda jealous I didn't do that.

 

hey, those rims look pretty sick. you did a great job. i too have the stock 17's on my black sport. care to fill me in on the secret of what you used and how you did it? thanks

thanks for the comments......... well it was pretty simple i just taped off the part that is silver which isthe indented part of the rimifyou have the same rims you knowwhat i mean and made the edges nice and straight with a razor blade then just sprayed a few coats of black spray paint from the auto parts store let it dry then hit it with a few coats of clear then let it dry and mount the rims back on. The paint has held up pretty well havent had any chips or anything but i havent gone off road yet
