i have the 17" rims on my 05 regular cab, has anyone ever sprayed these rims black? and if so do oyu have any pics of any hints on how to do it right?

If you want yours all black its super easy if you have the white lettering on the tire just tape that off and spray the rim you might wanna use a fine grit sand paper to go over the area your gonna spray then hit it with a few coats and finish it up with clear coat. Im very happy with the way mine came out i fooled a lot of people and saved ALOT of money till i can get the real thing

Damn those look really good! i wish i had those 17"s instead of the chrome ones. so has anyone tried this on the other 17" rims? and is there a certain kinda of paint i should use?

 

You can go to an auto parts store and buy wheel paint, it comes in spray paint cans. Make sure to get a good clear coat as well and give it a few coats of both.
