Default Rack and pinion boots.

Question: Mine is an '03 Hemi 4x4. I resolved a big leak on the power steering return line with a simple 1" clamp. While I was under there, I noticed that both my boots were a little damp. One has a tear in it. (I've been a couple rough places). Nothing is dripping, so I'm sure Lucas will stop the slow leak, but...
I went to the local parts store and he says you can't buy the boot, just the whole rack. I even went to the dealer and they said the same thing. I went back to my favorite local store again when the owner was in, and he suggested one from a Dakota rack.

Does anyone know if the Dakota rack & pinion boot will fit on the ram? Or is there some other boot that will fit? He says the dak. boot is about $50. That would save a lot of cash and time.

Default RE: Rack and pinion boots.

Does anyone know if rack & pinion boots from a Dakota will fit on a Ram 1500 rack & pinion?
Boots alone for the ram are yet unavailable, but the Dakota ones are.
Anyone?
