Default Leveling Problems (rattle)

I have an 04 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab 2wd 5.7 Hemi with2" front end level spacers. I still have the factory shocks installed and recently noticed a rattle everytimeI hit a bump on the front end. I took it to a mechanic and they ruled out the bushings or tie rod as the problem. I'm not sure if it'sthe shocks or what? The mechanic recommended that I take it to a 4wd shopbecause he thought that the rattle was a result of the lift. The rattle is only noticable when I hit a bumb in the road, otherwise I don't hear it. Anyone with a suggestion??

Have you checked the leveling kit or anything that you had touched while working on the truck?? check the torque on the bolts you had touched as even if you can't wiggle it, it could still be loose enough to make noise.

It might be your a arm hitting the top of your spring bucket, theres only about an inch of between the two.

Just wondering if you figured out where the rattle was coming from? I am having the same problem with my 08 after adding the 2" spacer to the front.

Thanks,
Ray

considering he became a member in 2007 and he only has 2 posts, I highly doubt he will be answering you anytime soon!

But who knows, someone else might chime in and give you some suggestions.
