ORIGINAL: eltupac
No offense, but anyone that looks like RUN DMC, has bling bling flashing all over the place and wears shades indoors aint gonna sell me a car. I is walking rights outs ma friends. (mispelled on purpose). This week I think I was changing the channel and I came across it. For a Dakota some guy was paying $500 something a month. No way dude.

It's cause these people have terrible credit, towbins prices are the same as any other dodge store in Las vegas. People just need to learn how to not be dead beats and pay their freakin credit card bills and they wouldn't pay 500 a month for a dakota with 0 down.
For starters, Towbin Dodge is rated the #1 used car dealership in the US for a reason. It doesnt matter what you are given, it matters what you do with it. Chop has done amazing things with what he was given. Is he a goof? Of course, but that's part of the appeal.
You also have to consider the cost of living in dealing with car payments. Think about it like this..... I live in Indiana....and the same house I live in would cost 3-5 times more in California for less space. I saw a 1000sq ft home go for 300k in Oakland.
The same applies in Las Vegas...so while perhaps the payments are high....you arent seeing everything....you dont know the cost of living, you dont always know how bad their credit really is....etc etc...
It's a funny show to watch.....and no dealership is always the "best" dealership to go to....

I think I hear what you are saying, but the cost of living doesnt raise the price of a vehicle, the sticker is the same in Vegas and the Carolinas.........am I right? I agree with motorrider, people need to pay their bills. I know some people fall on hard times but that is usually not the case.

Plus, too many people live on credit, not cash....which will jack your payment up in a heartbeat.....
Remember, alot fot he deals they show in the program are on the fly sales, from people who walk in for the first time and buy a car within an hour. Thats why there deals are so bad, because there showing the hype. The quick easy sales. ALSO, some of these deals may be for like 36mo. to own you know? Not everyone stretches there payments out through 5 or 6 years.
I watched 1 where some guy walked in looking for a used car, wanted to test drive a Xterra, loved it signed the papers immediately, got turned down by credit, and bought the next car he immediately test drove which was a monte carlo like year 2000. WTF?? Who shops like that? That guy woulda bought anything, lol.

Btw, that salesman cracked me up - The human O; you got to be a team player to shave your head like that
The only thing higher than the payments at Towbin Dodge is the pressure. Alot of hidden charges that add to the low price. I ended up 2 hours south at Swanty Dodge in Kingman, Arizona.
