About a month ago I helped my brother in law put his Ranch hand bumper on his 2004, 3500 Ram. It looks very nice, and a brush gaurd is no substitute. I think a color matched bumper looks damn nice! He got his for $800 off of Ebay brand new.

I'd go with the bull par. Personally i don't like the look of a brush guard on our style trucks.

Kinda strange since you CLEARLY have a brush guard in your pictures included in your sig....

This is the one I have... pics match my truck with the exception of the helas...

Putthe same set on my 03 when I had it.. Great deal, solid bars, yes, they're bolt ons, but VERY solid if you follow the directions... can be welded if you have the tools/time. Look great too!

ETA- I should add that the manufacturer made a chance since the picture above, the top of the set is actually even with the front of the hood, not lower, as seen in the pic.... It's all pretty solid...
Since I installed them, I've had 2 "love taps" in the office parking lot and tagged 2 deer at highway speeds. (Centered on the bars) No damage, just some scuffs to the rubber (love tap events) and blood on the windshield...(Bambi encounters.)
For under $300, you can't beat 'em... Thinking about putting a set on the wife's Liberty...

By looking at the pic of my truck it is obvious what my vote would be for. I love the way it looks and it very simple to install. The only thing needed after the Bull bar is a nice set of PIAA lights to go on it; which I am still lacking.

I think the BrushGuard is a good thing to have. A couple of years back, a deer ran into my truck, and tore up the passenger side head lamps, and fender. I think the Brush guard would have saved me alot of damage.
