Default new to the v8

so i'm new to v8 specially hemi. i have a wrx and the wife now runs a ram 1500 qc. its got a cold air intake, and the stock muffler removed. going for a custom exhaust with a flowmaster muffler at 3 inch. after that hoping to have money for a programmer. basically the point of this post is i need performance because i have to pull 6-7,000 lbs. i know should have gota diesel but guess what i'm military and they dont pay enough. looking for cheap things to do on a v8 i know intake, exhuast and headers are the first for n/a but i was just wondering if there was any secrets to make power like on most stock vehicles.

a superchips programmer would be a start, can usually get em for around $300 and they have alot of performance options on them...also look at gettin a low temp t-stat, they work the best when used with a programmer...

that hemi should have more then enough power to pull that trailer, i use to pull a trailer all the time with my hemi until i got my diesel runnin...but more power is always a good thing

dude, the HEMI has way more power than you think!!! you dont have to worry about it needing to haul 10,000 lbs!

Keep in mind that this is only the 4.7 and the 5.7 HEMI will sound even better!

Get the superchip that will give you imo the best starting point for upgrades. I love mine.
