my slt regular cab was in an accident and now its time to fix. i want to put the srt hood and bumper on. already have the hood. now does the bumper require different brackets, etc? anyone do the conversion? pictures, info, etc?

 

bump. anyone? i know people have done it on here. any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

I've heard the sport/laramie bumper needs different brackets, not sure about the srt bumper.

 

I am not sure of the parts, but I do know that the SRT bumper cover for an 06-07 is about $1000 for only the cover. Then you will need the steel bumper that is behind that. and the other mounts that attach the cover to the steel beam. I got a quote once for hood, grille and front bumper all unpainted and it was $2120.00 for the hood, grille, and bumper parts and cover.

 

i found one on ebay for 500, but then the guy said another 200 for special brackets to make it fit, i find that crazy 200 for brackets when the bumper is 500.
