4.7 vs 5.7

Also in half ton I prefer RCSB and the 4.7 in that configuration has more than enough power. Maybe in a qc it's not enough but for rcsb it's good for me

I've got an 02 1500 RCSB 4.7L and I love it. One complaint though. It down shifts a lot. I try to use cruise as much as possible but on some small inclines it will down shift. I'm not sure if it's the tranny or the engine not having quite enough hp or torque to get it over the hill but it would be nice to drive a Hemi and see how it would handle the same situation.
P.S. I get about 16.0 Mpg driving my 4.7 to work and back. On a nice flat stretch of highway and easy 19-20mpg all day long. As long as there's no small hills

I cracked up my old pickup truck about 6 months ago and was put in a 06 Ram 4.7 for the 2 weeks my old truck was in the shop. I was already debating about buying one but this sold me. When I got to the lot I opted for the 5.7 and the difference between a 5.7 and the 4.7 are like night and day.
