What would have made your street racing story even better is if you had both ploughed into a car with a whole family which died in a firey crash.

Actually the new SI can be kind of quick with a good saw one with only 2k miles on it run a 14.9 one night. Then a couple weeks later the same civic with some better rubber and a 50shot run a 13.9 But stock they are pretty much nothing after 90mph.

Only thing I don't like about the WRX (except for maybe the newer styling, looks like a squished tribeca) is the narrow power band. You gotta keep the revs up to stay in the powerband. Same problem I had with my DOHC Pulsar.
