Well from what I hear, Toyota uses Hemispherical heads on their engines, could be the onlyway they got 387 HP out ofthat engine. Is that correct? I could be wrong.

I think they should cam the HEMI. Why can't it be? Pushrod is old school, not that there's anything wrong with that, but c'mon it's the year 2000 baby.

On a lighter note, the new trucks just look plain ol' bad! I would hate to see the 2015+ looks too! But if they float, I'll like em!

really? i dont think the new Rams looks better. in the pics, they look real ugly. but come on, look at the people they pick. they probably pick people that they know think the truck looks good so its better marketing...

My guess it will get a face lift, not a total re-do. Reason? There would be a solid concept out there now! The Rampage is NOT a Ram, it is a Rampage.It has alsobeen around a long time, it is not going to make production. 2009 production is only 16 months away, which is why you would need a solid concept for a ENTIRE new truck. In todays manufacturing it takes a year to make a concept into production. So.... Where is it? It does not exist in my opinion.

Dodge has enough going on to risk a total re-do of one of the flag ship vehicles. Selling of the company, getting the Challenger to market are two big ones.

Some others mentioned they do not like the 06+ compared to the 02-05, well....

The look has grown on me. I would not hesitate to buy a 06+ because of the front or tail lights. I recently rented a 06 QC. I was actually impressed by the front. The grill is much more durable/strong than the 02-05's, which seem almost fragile. However, the 06+ interior is a big minus. The seats are no where near as nice and are uncomfortable. The rental had 25K on it and the drivers seat seemed worn out. The dash looked cheap compared to the 02-05, although they are both plastic. And the wood grain, well not for me. I did like the cup holders better The ride was "softer" which is good I guess, but I am comparing a 06 QC to a 05 RC, a QC should ride better.
