Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on a good set of pads and rotors i have an 03 RAM 1500 4.7 reg cab i got a quote from dealer for $113.00 + tax (wholesale cost) wondering if any performance parts near this cost THANKS IN ADVANCE

 

I WAS LOOKING IN THEY ROTOR THICKNESS BOOK @ WORK TODAY KNOWING I NEED BRAKES AS WELL AND IT WAS TELLING ME THAT THE STOCK ROTORS CANT BE TURNED. THE WEIRD PART IS IT HAD A MIN. ROTOR THICKNESS SPEC TO? THE MIN THICKNESS WAS ABOT.030 OF AN INCH SMALLER THAT WHAT THE STOCK ROTOR MEASURED LEADING ME TO BELIEVE THEY CAN BE TURNED. THE ONLY REASON I BROUGHT THIS UP IS BECAUSE THEY QUOTED YOU $113.00 THAT IS A GOOD PRICE IF THE ROTORS COME WITH IT.

 

I had the rotors turned on my 2005 with no problems....

 

Yeah that is pads and rotors.I work in parts for BMW so I get wholesale cost on parts

 

on the 05 rams there is a machine to spec tailbuster but in 02 and 03 there isnt one listed it is just listing a discard spec.
