Default Trans temp gauge install

I installed 2 sensors after reading the threads here dealing with installing gauges. I put 1 in the #3 test port using the 1/8" - 1/16" reducer and short sensor from Autometer. I then wired up a switch and put it near the Autometer Phantom gauge in the single A-pillar pod. I'll let the pics speak...

Here is the sensor in the #3 test port.

And the second sensor in the hot cooler line. I used a 3/8" "T" Swagelock fitting to set the sensor into.

I will be towing our camper later today on a short trip to the campground and for Memorial weekend we'll be heading up in the Adirondaks for a weekend of camping. I will post back temperature results. Enjoy.

My guess is he wants to get two different readings and see the difference. One going in the tranny (cool) and one going out of the trans (hot).
