Question I dont want to ask this but...

I really dont want to ask this because I know this subject has been beaten around the forum and then some but I need a parts list from those of you who have made your own CAI. I went to modify my current AFE intake because it only replaced the stock box and kept the Hemi hat. Well I got my hands on an MIT tube and modified it to fit on my truck and match up to my current intake and although its working, it does not look as clean as I would like it to. So I want to take one more swing at it. I want to avoid PVC at all costs. If anyone can point me to a link or a parts list and where to pick up the pieces needed please do. Thanks

actually, i tried to do it with metal duct tubing, and as someone mentioned when i posted mine, the tube slit at the folded seam. i was actually surprised at how rigid the pvc is, i got some that's a quarter inch thick, and it seems like it will hold up. get rubber joints from the plumbing department at home depot though, i did that and it made it easy to install the sensor and oil breather hose.

O'Reillys or Auto Zone has CAI parts such has tubes, joints or what ever to make a entire CAI from scratch.

So Im officially frustrated as hell now. Why the ****ing hell do the **** heads at dodge design the ****ing throttle body so it sits at a ****ing angle?!?!?!?! Seriously sit the ****ing thing up another ****ing half a ****ing inch and have it sit ****ing straight. And what the **** is up with AFE? They ****ing had to have their ****ing head shoved up their ****ing asses when designing ****ing this ****ing part? I really want to know who the **** decided that it was ****ing okay to put a ****ing oval ****ing pipe on a ****ing intake so I can go shove his ****ing head even further up his own mother ****ing *** and then shove the ****er up the ****ing *****'s *** who decided that his idea was a good ****ing idea. I seriously did not want to have to redesign the whole ****ing thing but **** it.... That feels better now, rant over.
