Default Installed some more parts today.

Today I did some work on my truck. And noticed a few things.

I installed my Power Slot rotors with Hawk LTS pads in the front. I noticed my truck only has 1 ABS sensor, it is only on the driver side. The passenger side does NOT have an ABS sensor. Is this normal?

Stock pads and rotors.

Smoking hot rotors after burnishing the new pads to the new rotors.

Brakes cooling down for 15 minutes after the burnishing.

At the same time I was doing my brakes, It was time for my first diff fluid change and pinion seal change. I had a leak at the pinion seal. The diff looks like an open diff to me (non lsd). Am I right? I thought my truck came with the 3.92 LSD like the build sheet stated. I see spider gears like in an open diff.

I put in 2 quarts of Mobil 1 Synthetic 75W140

Thanks guys, stopping power is very good.

The road noise is not too bad. I have heard really noisy trucks on the freeway drive by me. Mine does not seem too loud. Definitely not as quiet as the low profile tires on my stock 20" wheels.

truck looks sweet, I like the wheels and tire's as well.

Sorry your diff looks like a non LSD don't see a clutch pak in it. as for your abs, I think the sensor you see is a spped sensor only, your truck might only have rear abs like mine.

I'm doing my DIFF this weekend, I thought something like 2.4 qts were required? Was 2 enough to fill it? I'd rather not buy the extra bottle if not required!

Like he said your truck may only have rear ABS. You might want to check your build sheet again to see what it says.

Nice truck by the way.
