Hey Jay, would you mind posting a pic of your CAI. I wanna see what it looks like installed! Also if any one has any pics of there homemade CAI i would like to see them also. I have an Airaid JR kit but not happy with it and am thinking of changing it. Thanks in advance!

Thanks Jay! Looks Good! Got another question fellas, I have been reading over the 287 crew forum and i have now decided that a throttle body should be my next purschase. Question is what size and will i need a tune or anything like that to make it perform right?

nah no tune... just contact dan the fastman and tell him what you have and that you want a tb for your 4.7 he will know what to send you....do you have a tuner?

No I dont have a tuner. I have herd that they dont really do anything for our trucks except change some stuff in the tranny.

somebody told you wrong go check out the s/c thread and find out for your self my truck came alive so whoever said they dont do things is full of shizzzzz for sure....stock i could outrun a f150 with 5.4 now i smoke em good...does nothing who told you that....

superchip 3865 or cortex the 3865 can be got at truckcustomizers.com for under 290 and the cortex runs 400 i think....but def read some pages in the sticky at the top for the superchip thred...youll learn alot there....
