Alright fellas here's the deal, as most of you know the MOTM Poll for March had been prematurely ended due to unforseen circumstances. The good news is we can pick up where we left off. Sort of... The poll had only seen a few days worth of voting but it was clear who was out on top. Weedahoe is the Member of The Month for March. He is an outstanding member and is very knowledgeable in all aspects which is why he dominated the poll in just a few short days. Since the polling only lasted a few days, this means there will be no new OTM poll until April. No worries, there will be plenty of chances for guys to get involved.
The monthly nominations will be ON the 1st of the Month every month or there abouts. Keep an eye out for a posting that will include the information needed to be close by when the Nom's take place. It will likely happen quick, so you can't say I didn't warn ya.
I will give a day or 2's notice in advance to inform everyone what TIME the noms will begin. yes i said Time as in exact time, likely in the evening hours. No surprises. No missing out unless you are working and can't get away for 10min.?

I just wanted to set everyone at ease that there will be regular MOTM Polls to give back to the members that help everyone out. It's those members that deserve to be recognized and awarded. There may even be a mystery prize for each winning member????? Just have to wait and see.
I plan to run the polls for a short duration of 7 days or 10 days.

Any thought or concerns please let me know. I may even start the April Polling a week early to avoid such a large gap. lemme know what u guys think and BE SURE to award Weedahoe for dominating and squashing me in the poll....lol

 

first off congrats to weedahoe you are very helpful indeed and have helped me in a lot of situations, thank you.....dog...i have a suggestion and dont take it the wrong way....get noms during the last week of the month....that way when the month starts run it 7 days ....gives the winner 3 weeks and change to bask in glory....are you gonna have a nomination second that person and then an acception or just a nom with accept?....all voting rules apply like having to be a member for so long and have so many posts?....i guess what im asking is it gonna be like the totm the way it used to be...dont get me wrong okla is doing a fantastic job with the totm.....im just trying to get a feel for it....good luck im sure youll explain in more details when it arrives.....

Jusjay, I would like the members to bask in glory for a few weeks rather than the polling taking forever.

You need to get nom'd, sec'd and then you must accept. Same rules as before.
I believe the member rule is 30 days and 50 posts? I'll have to check into that.

yeah thats what i was saying do the noms last week of each month and do voting first week of the new month and let the winner ride it out till the next crown is givin out....

congrats Weed! definitely well deserved. keep on doing what you do, and this forum will continue to be a valuable source of knowledge and inspiration.

and i already know who i am gonna nom for next month. he hasnt been around for a lil while, but he surely put some interesting knowledge out on the board. he is/was known for saying such things as "gauges are the best mod you can do for your truck" and "you truck was designed with thousands of man hours of research behind it, anything you change is more detrimental to its performance than it is beneficial"
