Looks amazing. What did you do with the IAT sensor that was plugged into the hat? I just cleaned my throttle body and forgot to plug it back in and that threw my CEL right away.

P 0113 - IAT Sensor, voltage to high

 

The IAT sensor install,,, well I drilled a hole in the pvc near the throttle body and inserted a Grommet. Actually it is a dipstick tube grommet for a GM Part#65113 found at O'Rielly Auto parts in the HELP section (after two hours of searching I found the perfect match). This is a perfect fit and has numerous ribs on the inside so the rubber O-ring on the IAT sensor fits tightly and seals well. Drill the hole slightly smaller than the Grommet, pinch and insert. I used a step drill bit to drill the hole just slightly smaller than 3/4 inch, roughly 18mm or .71". I did not have it installed in the picture but I put a new picture that now shows it. Click on the first link and it should be there with the other pics. I also used a little RTV around the outter edge of the Grommet just to be sure no unfiltered air was getting in. Or you could just RTV the sensor in also. The nice thing about the Grommet was that is the same length of the sensor and allows the sensor to stick out the same amount as it would in the HAT. Only thing you want to do is make sure it is in the pipe the same direction as it was in the HAT. Just look at it before removing it from the hat as it only fits in the HAT one way and locks into position. But if you don't like the throaty noise of a RAW and OPEN HEMI installer beware as this thing sound sweet and definitely turns heads when you step on it. Just like a well tuned exhaust. Yes these Things work, as far as how good compared to a $300 I do not know (never owned one) But for the $60 or so dollars we spent on these....well worth it.

No CAI will give you seat of the pants difference, but combo it with a tuner or exhaust, and you will see........many small mods=Big mod

 

those CAI look great, i will be building mine next weekend. does anyone have the part number for the K&N filter that works with the 4" pvc
