Default Need Help on my parking lights

Hi everyone I'm new to DF and I hope you guys can help me with a problem. I got home today and found out that my parking lights on the left side of the truck were not working. I checked the light bulbs and fuses and all of them are in good condition. The strange thing is that it is only the left side front, back and license plate lights. any thoughts or suggestion would be appreciated.

While I cannot be sure, I have seen guys have this issue with the lights and it ended up being their Power Distribution Center (PDC) AKA fusebox itself.

Yep......if everything reasonable checks out ok, it's the PDC Power Distribution Center.......fuse box to you and I lol.
Do a search on Park lamp/lights and there are several posts covering this.
Hope this helps?

Yeah had the truck when it only had 22 miles on her now she has 170k plus. She's been a good truck not too many problems. This is the first one I was scratching my head about.

Common problem especially if you hose down your engine compartment with water . I managed to disassemble the fuse box (power distribution center) on my 2004 and clean off the corrosion, then repair the bad connection with a jumper wire see pics. after that I sprayed clear lacquer paint around the problem area to protect it.(or silicone sealant would work) (making sure not to get clear on the connections). also you can jump the lights at the relay giving the relay alt power were its not getting it do to the short. hooking up a new separate relay the comes on when you turn on your main headlights then run from the new relay to the old relay. lamps will be on when your headlights are on only,, but it works. you can just do that, then clean the circuit board in the fuse box and protect it from further corrosion cuz soon,, it will get worse and most likely loose your instrument panel lights next,, then so on.
Or just get ripped off and pay $400 plus for a new one.

I finally had some time this weekend to fix the truck I took your advice and took apart the PDC. It was a little scary for me soldering on the jumper wire but it works great thank for advice. Kevin

cool.. I was worried too at first but figured it was already damaged so what did I have too loose. people should take apart there undamaged fuse box and protect it ( via laquer or silicone) before the problem starts but I doubt this will happen. anyhow good job my friend glad too help.

So, I have the box out of the engine compartment, how does one get to the circuit board inside? I'm not in a big rush. Willing to take my time on this..
