Default Window Vent Shades

Picked up these In channel vent shades at autoanything made by AVS.
So far I'm like them.

have you noticed any increase in wind noise with them and do they rattle at all if you have your windows down? I'm interested in getting some but those are my main concerns.

This set comes with tape to hold them in the channel. The last set I bought for my '07 were weathertech. They were alot heavier plastic and rattled in the channel. They didn't have any tape to hold them in. I havent noticed any more wind noise.

I picked up and installed the AVS In-Channel vents Saturday. Install was pretty easy as they fit very well. I have noticed slightly more wind noise with the vents, not a tremendous amount but some, especially at hwy speeds. Around town is negligiable.

I have a set of these on my quad cab. I absolutely love them. They tape via 3M adhesive in the window channels, are extremely easy to install, and in all honesty I haven't noticed one bit of rattling or wind noise from them at any speed. I've always liked AVS products.

I like that the Weathertechs come all the way down to the rubber weatherstripping, and cover all of the slightly open windowl. Mine fit so well, they never rattle, or come loose................. they fit so snug, I can't imagine them moving.

I also like that the light smoke are almost invisible, on my Mineral Grey truck.

I absolutely LOVE these in-channel vent shades. They look so much better than the ones that stick to the outside. I was so worried about excessive wind noise and vibrations, but they've been great. I'm very happy with them. Oh yeah...if anyone tries to charge you extra for these over the outer ones, then tell them to take a hike. I got mine from Autozone and they were the exact same price as the others.

Do you have the part number for the ones you got...?

I ended up going with the putco chrome in channel ones and they are great. No wind noise or other rattles for two years now
