Question Raptor Oval Tube Side Steps????? Know anything??

Found these on a website and checked them out. http://www.raptorseries.com/raptor-oval-bar.html
The price the dealer gave me was awesome....under $300!
He said they pretty much copied Westin and then priced themselves waaaay under Westin. They look pretty decent and have welded end caps!

So...have any of you guys ever heard of them? Better yet...has anybody bought/installed/using them? Or will I be the gineau pig when I pick up my set on Wednesday??

Thx

There is a dealer here in San Antonio who sales them. He told me the same thing. They do look really good with the polished ends. Good luck.

I have the raptor magnum 5" ovals. I have had them on for a couple of weeks now
and really like them. Very easy install nad the quality appears to be good. I havent
seen the 4" ones but the 5" looks very good on my sport crew cab. I dont think you
will be disappointed in them.

Installed the steps today. Fairly easy to install...took about an hour total..cuz the directions are just "OK"....once I figured it out...the other side went fast. Hardware was all there. Look pretty good! Found out reason they were cheaper....made in China!

Anyway....We will see how they hold up to the Ohio winter!? But not too worried...they have Limited Lifetime Warranty!

Default Raptor 4" ovals

Got mine for $280 shipping included. Installed drivers side this morning. I was concerned about the rocker panel installation, but it seems quite sturdy and that is what Ram is recommending and using for OEM bars. Crew cab version has three rocker mounted brackets. They look really nice and have a good placement for both the height and the distance away from the body. Very comfortable step for my kids and mother-in-law into the cab.

Have had the Raptor 5" ovals for 2 years now and have had no problems with them, they still look great. I am in sunny California so I can't be of any help on how well they hold up in some of the harsher environments.

They hold up very well to constant sun.
