Not much to it. I paid $40 for the kit and my local truck shop was able to order it for me.

Default Day Star 1.5 leveling kit

pdavis53

You can go on ebay and order it like BullRam mentioned or call Pickup Heaven in Austin Tx (512) 833-8015. Tell them Joel sent you and they can have it drop shipped from Day Star to your door.

Default Finally took pictures.

Here are the picture's of my leveled 2WD Ram not a huge difference but I like it. I used the daystar 1.5" leveling kit. The first picture is before the second is after. Also the truck seems to be missing something and I am thinking it is the rims and tires. What do you think?

Just to let some know the 1.5 will NOT level the truck, it does a good job of rasing it a little but if you measure it or look at it on a level surface it is NOT level.Not trying to start a flame just want anyone that is thinking of buying it to level, will need 2.5 spacer to get it done.And I know the ride will be different.the 1.5 makes it ride as it did before.

Pdavis53, your truck does look great, in fact I have not seen a bad looking 4th Gen Ram yet. It’s all around just a great looking truck.

I hate to do this, but I have to disagree with the statement that the 1.5” spacer will NOT level the truck. From my experience it comes pretty dang close. Pdavis53, I’m not sure why yours does not look as level as mine does. I decided to take BullRam’s advice and I measure my truck. I found that I am 1/4 of an inch away from level on the front. I measured 14 3/4 on the back and 14 ½ on the front. If I was to run the 2.5” kit on my truck that extra inch would NOT make the truck look level. In fact if would put me ¾ of an inch higher in the front. This would explain why the 2.5” kits come with a ¾ rear spacer. However I have not found a 2.5” front and ¾” rear kit that will work on a 2WD. They seem to only be available for the 4WD trucks

So this leads me to believe that there is something different about some of these 2WD truck models. Something has to be different to make one truck look level with this kit and another not.

You guys tell me. Maybe I am bias because I love my truck. But it looks pretty level to me.

Here is what is on my 2wd SLT. DayStar KC09103BK Comfort Ride
DODGE RAM 94-09 1500 2WD, 94-09 2500 /3500 1.5" BUDGET BOOST

Here are some pics;

No problem at all we are here to talk and get the right spacers, you cant put a level on the bed......if the ground you are on is sloped at all it will make the bubble off, I checked mine at 4 different, what I would call flat places and they are all with in 1/8 th of an inch, I agree that something is weird wwith this truck and leveling, it seems the springs are soft in the front ,and with the HEMI it makes even the slightest slope make our trucks look as if they are level and unlevel. Mine for some reason needs another inch to make it level, the 1.5's are a great place to start since it doesnt require any shock change ,just a small alignment, could there be anything to do with Crew and Club ?, also HEMI and non HEMI?? lets talk about it..........

jbgp1200,
After looking at your truck and reading your measurements it appears that you are very close to level. I think the difference is you have a Crew cab and I have a Quad cab. So more weight is towards the rear of your vehicle. Probably not a huge difference but enough to help the rear sit a little lower. I will measure my truck today and post measurements. Personally I love the way my truck sits and I am glad I still have a little offset. I leveled a truck before and depending on what surface the truck was sitting on the rear looked lower, plus I tow so I like the rear a little higher so when I hook up my boat it doesn't squat the rear to bad. Anyway I will measure the truck today and see what I get. This is why I love this forum, good discussion and good people.
