looking for a muffler with a deep thick sound and with no drone
2010 ram sport,not looking to change exhaust pipes,just muffler,thanks,any sound bits?

 

go on youtube and search for dodge ram exhaust thats what i did and i think ima go with magnaflow cuz they have a nice sound.

 

i went with a flowmaster, love it untill it hits 4 cylinders.

 

Ditto. I had the 50 series Flowmaster and thought it had a great sound that wasn't too loud, though when the MDS kicked in, it sounded terrible. There was also a good bit of drone at certain rpm's while at highway speeds. I switched it out to a Magnaflow and think I made the right choice. It's not as loud as the Flowmaster, but the drone is gone, and under acceleration the Magnaflow sounds great.

 

I'll let you know how well I like the Magnaflow soon... I'm putting one on this weekend.

 

I'm actually at the muffler shop gettin it done now so I will let yall kno how I like the sound. Hopin everything comes out ok

 

After alot of debate and reading and sound clips I decided on the Magnaflow 18". I will be getting it done in the next few weeks.

i have the flowmaster original 40 series with stock pipes/tips/resonators and when the MDS kicks in it just gets quieter. i dont hear any "ricer" sound at all. i waited until a few people had it and posted vids and then i made my decision. here is a vid of my truck

shnill has a good ear... i've been researching and posting for months now on which is the best, and i've come to the conclusion the aero turbine 3030 is the best.
