I like the sound of flowmaster over Magnaflow everyday of the week. I have a hard time paying that much for a fancy glasspack. Only issue is that that FM will probably give you issues another 1-2 years down the road concerning rust. That and that lovely MDS drone that everyone hates.

Good clip man!

Thanks. Yeah I may have to buy a new one or may try a Magnaflow although the exhaust shop said it will with a Magnaflow the drone would be worse? :S

My magnaflow 24" drones like a mother ****er. I even have a resonator on that thing.

That's on a 2nd Gen long bed though, mind you.

i have the 18" magnaflow on my truck and there is no drone going down the road. But I do like the sound of chambered mufflers. I had a jba catback on my 06 charger and absolutely loved it. Thinking about changing.

I just bought a 2010 - 1500 quad cab - I want to put the flowmaster 40 on it soon - was listening to the different videos on youtube to help decide... what is the stock pipes on the 2010 - 3inch single going in and 2.5 in duals coming out ? Have to price the flows... but there are a few different 40's on the site - which is the best? Seems American thunder is getting good reviews.

Bigre: I've got the same model: 2010 1500 Quad. I kept the stock 3" pipes on, had a flowmaster 40 put in, and I have 2.5" stainless steel angled outputs. It sounds mean. Couldn't be happier.

It's actually deeper than the older models..I think because the muffler is so close to the rear of the 2010 RAMs unlike the 3rd Gen models.

I see you left the resonators on both pipes - do think it would sound better with them off ? I want to do this right the first time. Do you know which Flow 40 you bought? There is a few kinds - Delta 40 / American Thunder, etc etc Thanks !
