Thumbs up Installed Mufflex DOD24M Muffler w/stock pipes

Last night i installed the Mufflex 24" muffler on my 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi from Mufflex-Performance . c o m. I was concerned about the MDS sound considering i had an 08 and it sounded like **** with a full truflow exhaust. i just wanted something a little louder than stock and thats what i got plus once under load it sounds great. at idle its deeper and under load its deeper but cruising with the MDS it sound no different. great sound and would recommend it to anyone.
Just an FYI. you have to take off the factory tips and getting them centered again is a pain in the...

I have the same kit on my truck. I have had it on there for about 10k miles and it does get a little louder but not much. I love the way it sounds. Quiet at a stop and sound great as you go up through the gears. The only time it annoyed me and my wife was when we towed our boat to NH and the sound reflected of the boat and we got the dreaded drone in the cab. Other then that I have never had the drone in the cab. I had a shop put mine on and weld it in place. I have been very happy with it.

Could someone post a video? I've checked youtube and the sound quality of the one on there is crap. I've been debating between the 24 and 18. Need to make a decision soon.
Thanks

Not sure how it is a PITA? All you do is loosen the swivel on the pipe and the tips will adjust to most any position. You could install them on a truck without the cutouts, there is that much adjustment.

Be sure your pipes are tight enough into the muffler. Most everyone has issues with the bands not tightening up enough leaving the pipes slightly loose. I personally cut some extra slots to allow for more compression.
