There is a new service bulletin for the 11's out published on May 6th. Software flash having changes to the transmission shifting, maybe this will help.

Thank you! I can't stand reading all of this. The problem exists in all gears! OD, 5, 4, etc... Mine is particarly loud. Dealer keeps telling me they don't hear it but never want to take a ride with me. You can time it by watching the ECO light come on as you are cruising then accelerate a little to maintain the speed. When ECO flashes off it starts. It's that constant on off of the ECO causing it. I hope they can just disable it. I am taking mine in for an appointment on Feb 1. $30,000 is lot of money for something that sounds like it's coming apart!

Garanteed you will NOT like the new reflash in the 2011 hemi trucks.
Your truck will be a total dog after they flash it. The MPG`s will also go down.
It does NOT fix the TC noise either, nore does it fix the MDS vibes either.
Just givin you guyz a heads up on it... many have been done here, customer hates it after the reflash.
My advice, dont do it, it does NOT fix anything. If anything, its actually making them run worse.

They don't all do it. I've talked to five other MDS-equiped Ram owners and none of them reported any unusual noises associated with this problem. In fact, I had a ride in one of those trucks. In my case I've gone months without hearing myself.

For you guys driveing/riding, in trucks that dont make any noise or vibrations, why dont you ride in a few that do, and THEN you`ll see that a few of these guys are complaining for a GOOD reason. Its rediculous that some people come in here and say their truck, or their buddies truck(s) dosent have these issues and all is fine. Thats just wrong for people to keep disagreeing with the ones that DO have issues with the TC noise and MDS vibrations. If your truck is fine, then good for you, i`m glad to hear you got one with no issues.

The reason(s) your dealer isn`t hearing it is because either, a) they aren`t trained properly, or most likely, b) chrysler tells them to avoid any warranty issues by disagreeing with the customer. By the dealers disagreeing with the customer, it saves chrysler millions of dollars in not paying out for the warranty repair(s). I use to work for one of the big 3, that was one thing they always stressed to the dealership(s), avoid as many warranty issues as possible. They ALL do it..! Its not just chrysler, its all of them. Their favorite thing to say, "its as per design"

And if you "cant stand" reading all this stuff on the forums, then maybe you should be talking to chrysler instead of wasteing your valuable time, here.

Chrysler does no such thing like telling dealer personal to disagreeing with customers to avoid warranty. In the 25 plus years in dealer service depts I never encountered such by any of the manufactures I dealt with. Never.Chrysler has been giving dealers plenty of lead way with warranty money. The two dealers I know have been paying for lots of out of warranty repairs. The NEW RAM and Chrysler owners are trying to really be proactive.

Default So it continues..................

So now my vehicle has been back to the dealer 3 times. I am now enrolled in the Chrysler Enhanced Customer Service Program. I have my own personal CSR to help me through these 'difficult' times. I have been offered a rental vehicle each time it has been in. The first time they replace vibration dampners under the chassis on the outer frame near the rear doors. No change in conditon. Second time they replaced the torque converter. seems worse. No change in condition. This time they have had it for a week, don't know what they are going to do with it. I don't think they know what to do. I told them to keep it until it is fixed. This experience has certainly 'dampened' my Chrysler ownership experience.

The program and and the assistance Chrysler is doing for you was unheard just a short while back. I remember when warranty were 12/12500 and at 13k you were sol. Now they assign someone to work direct with you and care enough to work on it for weeks. New era in auto CSI.
