Hi all -

I am sure this has been covered elsewhere here so if someone can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.

I have an '09 SLT 4x4 1500 Crew Cab with the 3.55 rear end. I'm towing a 31 foot trailer (camper) that weighs around 5,500 lbs.

Last year was the first season towing it and I had no problems. This year we're planning on doing more camping with it.

I'd like to know what suggestions you have on upgrading the brakes on my truck. I've had no problems with the stock brakes towing the trailer but I'm cautious and am thinking a brake upgrade would take some worry off my mind.

I use a Prodigy brake controller and a Blue Ox hitch with weight distribution and sway controller when I tow.

I figure i'd sort this out in the off season so I am ready when the snow melts.
