I know this subject has been very much covered, but I'm a little concerned about my choices. My truck is a 2010 2wd 1500. I'm considering the CST lift, with a 285 65 20 BFG AT. They are 34.7'' tall, with an 11.5'' section width. I really don't want to go over a 12'' secion width. Would this combination look decent, or has anyone tried this combo yet. I like the look of the Nitto trail and others, but have had great luck with BFG AT's in the past. It's just hard to beat their ride and low noise levels.
On a side note, I'm used to having lifted vehicles. My last one was a JK 4 door on 37's. One before that was an 08 F350 with a rize 11'' adjustable lift, etc, etc.. I was also heavy into racing diesels until the market absolutely dropped off here.. My first thoughts for this truck was a CST lift with a body lift and 37's on 22's.. Then the reality struck me that being a gasser it would probably drink the fuel.. The thought is nice though.. haha How is the fuel mileage with the 4.7 and a lift? Any advice is appreciated.
