Default Rusting front chrome bumper

These pictures are from my one month old 2011 Dodge Ram. I'm taking the truck in this week for it's first oil change. I'm also going to show them the rusting issue.
Yes, it's a big deal that the bumper is rusting already, but I want to present it the right way to them. Any "professional" suggestions, to basically say, they need to address the issue?

They need to give you a new bumper and they will. This is the fine craftsmanship dodge sales.

Wow that's crazy man... I have a 2010 and (knock wood) I haven't seen any of that, even on the inside edges I can see. No doubt they will replace it, but I don't know your dealer so I would advise going in and sounding confident that you know they're going to step up and do the right thing... I wouldn't sound a bit like anything but full replacement is the solution.

Thats one of the reasons I got the sport...my last 2 dodges always ended up with rust spots on the chrome bumper within the first year....

Mine had some rust on it but not nearly that bad. I used chrome polish to clean them up and have not had it happen again for almost a year now.

Ya, I know I could use polish that will take the rust away. "But" I want it resolved so that a year from now when the truck is a year old, I'm not having to deal with a bigger issue with the dealership.

Yea, that is to bad to be polishing, in other words more than rail dust or particles stuck to the surface and rusting.

Totally agree. Mine were very small specks that were easy to remove.

Have a 2011 SLT that we use as a sales vehicle at work doing the same thing. Will have dealer look at it this week.
