You wont be disappointed on the light output on the tail lights of ours.
Sorry, I guess I don't understand. Are you saying that these are less bright than the stock taillights? I was under the impression that a bank of unidirectional LED's are generally brighter than a single incandescent bulb in a regular taillight housing. Maybe (probably) I don't know what I'm talking about, though.

Philips LUMILEDs bulbs is what powering these Tail Lights, not those cheap L.E.D.

L.E.D. is brighter while using less power compare to a regular bulb, L.E.D. bulbs will last at least 10 times longer than a light bulb on the same battery.

To make it more understanding L.E.D. is directional, as for light bulb, its spreads everywhere. That is why they are brighter than a regular bulb on a tail light. Because it doesn't spread around its more focus.

I am also interested in the LED taillights. I would prefer a red taillight lense similiar to the original, not smoked. I am also concerned about the brightness of the light when it is on at night. What would be the brightness, and can you tell when the brake light comes on at night.

I'll do a short video not on the truck but inside a dark room from the distance since i dont have the truck here.

I own a chevy tahoe L.E.D. Tail Lights, it use the same l.e.d. tail light. I can show you how it looks on them too.

I have these lights, i bought them from recon when they first came out, i wanted them forever so i didnt care about the price but now i wish i would have waited. But whatever, as for the headlights they are pretty nice, but if your looking for better light you need HID in the low beam projector anyways, i ran the normal xenon bulb and was worst than stock, but with hid its really bright, and the highbeams are brighter than stock with xenon bulb. The taillights are really bright, will not be dissapointed. Only issues i had with the headlights is i already changed 4 led bulbs and its only been 2 months i had them, and one of them fogs up when i say go for a car wash then go out in cold weather. bUT they look great at night. The taillights are really nice but they also fog up inside the lens a bit but not noticable with smoked tail lights. Usually goes away after a couple days. check out pics of them on my truck at http://www.cardomain.com/ride/380021...-cab-all-trims

I do not have HIDs on that site yet they are not on my truck waiting for a part ran into problems with the truck computer shutting down my lowbeams when truck was running.

If that's the case, Spyder better offer them at $100 a pair or less.
