Just picked up my new truck. When I demo'd one last week, the salesman told me the new trucks did NOT come with a dipstick. When I picked up my truck, it had a dipstick. The salesman didn't have an explanation. Truck is definitely new, had 18 miles on it when I test drove it. Any advise welcomed.

 

My advice would be to pull the dipstick out and check it every time you change your oil.

 

I had an '07 srt8 grand cherokee that didnt come with a tranny dipstick, the manual said that the tranmission did not need to be checked regularly.... uhm, okay???
