Just installed recon`s 360 degree white/amber switchback led bulb (30 white and 30 amber). Also installed 6000k hids in low beams and fog lights with a relay and capacitor from ebay. Everything seems to work i haven`t had trouble, only once i started the truck and turned the lowbeams on and one did not light up right away, had to turn the *** on and off 3 times then worked. Relay also buzzes for 1 sec when i turn them on. But really happy for now, the difference is not even funny. Bring it on moose. Still have a bullbar and 2 6" hid offroad lights to install. Ricer crap...too many components to fail.

 

Those Halos definitely arent bright

 

They are the led halo version. They aren't bright like you said but i kind of got used to it. The bright ones are the CCFL halo but i heard that they don't last long. Probably why Recon sells the LED version.

 

Pretty cool man...my recon projectors should be delivered tomorrow.

I use my stock rims for winter rims and tires. I'll be putting back my Monsters as soon as I get back home.

 

Thanks for the compliment. I guess i like troubleshooting, it'll keep me busy for when it does fail.

Also you own a dodge pickup, too many components to fail stock so what's the difference.

 

Did you order your lights directly through Recon, or is there a more cost-effective alternative? I need to order the white/amber turn signal light.

Did you have to use the resistor on that?
