Wow if you have some really dark places to back into, I am okay with the lights that are on the truck. My buddy changed all his lights to leds on his Ford Edge all was well for a while then his computer start messing up throwing codes. So they figured the computer was messed up. Replaced it. All well for a few weeks then it starts happening again. He didn't mention it to them about the leds. Well another computer later they give him a loaner they discover all the led bulbs pull them out and kept it and drove it for a few weeks then billed him for 2 computers. He played dumb acted like he never heard of leds for cars. Turns out some are already led and if you put the wrong ones well it causes problems. What ever happened to the days when things were simple. You should be good, straight to the battery but you should have a relay in there, is there one that came with the wiring ? Cool idea I think I would like some pointing sideways. Great place for the switch, tons of room under there and inside the console for stuff. My Lock pick is in there and I have the USB attached to it and in the glove box with my IPod cable that I never use but paid a hundred bucks for.

It has an inline fuse. I didn't bother with the relay since I'm not tied into any factory wiring, and from my knowledge is basically only to protect the switch.... Which is cheap. The lights pull less than a stock factory turn signal.

1300 lumens each

I've got the amber version of the Duallys on my RZR's front bumper. They are indeed a very nice high quality light. The amber lights are for fog and or dust.

Your setup is fine. You don't need a relay as the draw is very low. That is direct from the manf.

im actually considering putting 2 of these behind my grill, but in the pencil beam pattern.

i already have my fogs, and low beams switched to HID'S...

that combo will prbably blind somebody for real!! lol

i measured it up, one will fit on each side of the middle "cross hair" of the grille...

You want to be noticed don't you LOL. In 79 I had a new chevy van and I used it for a delivery business I had, some dark country roads so I put fog lights under the bumper a set behind the grill. When I put high beams on the lights in the grill lit up as well as the regular high beams..sure was bright, The fog lights were wired so they could come on whenever you want but the effectivness of them requires the other lights to be off of dimmed like they do now. A lot of people want their fog lights on with high beams, ever turn on you high beams in fog turns into a wall the fog lights did the just they would shine under the light. Hey do you have that space below the grill just a black plastic bezel, that is where i mounted my camera you could put them down there then they could act at fogs along with your OEM fog lights and or wire them to come on separate,I love where you put that switch. I didn't know that panel came off till my wife showed me.
