Well, I managed to break the passenger side tow mirror off my 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 backing out of the mini garage on this house. I never liked them anyways and wanted to replace them with smaller mirrors. The 'S'tealership wants damn near $900 to replace them both with smaller mirrors. My mirrors were power, heated, turn signal light and door(puddle) lamp on them. I have found cheaper ones that are black with heat, power, and the door (puddle) lamp, but no turn signals built in. Anyone know if they will still function on my truck and just not have the turn signals? The dealer said he looked at both wiring harnesses and they are different, but he couldnt tell me if that swap would work or not. Anyone else ever try this? Thx.

 

I don't know if they would work or not, I would think all of the wires on the new mirror would be common with the body harness. Might just have to find a new connector or swap the one from your old mirrors to get it to plug in.

If you lived near me, I would trade you mirrors. Mine are black, heated, turn signal, puddle light equipped ones.
