Weren't any dry spots out there so I wouldn say i was in a better spot. It was more of the fact that the diesel weights a TON and just sinks. Not to mention the toyos didnt do a very good job sheddin that mud. Im not sayin he was framed out but he couldnt move

I hear you on that. If it breaks though it breaks. It'll either be under warranty.....or time to upgrade I'm definitely re-gearing. It's honestly not that bad with 37s and 3.55. I'm one of the few '11s that got the 3.55 with LSD. So I'm not in a huge rush to re-gear. I have some 4.56 but no locker. The rear axle was changed up a little for '11 and the lockers for the 09-10 models do not work in the '11s. Once that is available I'll be geared and locked! Not sure what I'll do for the front axle. Would like to put something in there as well.....any suggestions??

i have 4.56's on my truck with a lock right in the rear. there isnt anything out for the front that i have seen. its probably similar to the dakotas tiny aluminum case you put a locker in it and it explodes from flex

I hear you on the front! I'm going 4.56 also but cant install yet bc the lockers wont work for '11. You must have a '10/ For instance the '11 rear axles have abs rings on them instead of the sensor on the top of the pumpkin. note ram 1500 2010 models and down dont have abs rings on the axle shafts, also axle shafts on the 2011ram1500s are slightly different in length. (the right axle being the shorter one but you cant really tell unless you put them side by side.)

Yea the different axle lengths is what screws us '11 guys. I "hear" Eaton is currently working on this issue! How do you like the 38s with 4.56? Your mpg improve any?? I lost about 2-3mpg across the board. I was telling some folks it is possible to go 38s with 6" and a 1.25 body lift......do you have any current pics....if you dont mind. Think you could go bigger? I wanna do 39.5" iroks....they measure to be big 38s maybe 39s and are only 13.50 wide and only 80 lbs!! I don't think it would be an issue.....

yea i think i could fit 40's if they where only 13.5" wide cause the 15.50's are extremly wide. and my mpg might have improved its hard to tell. because when i switched the gears is when they switched back to summer blend fuels. so i dont know if it was the gears or the fuel. but the power i gained back is a lot better than before.
