What drop kit did you end up using on that one? I've been tossing the idea around of doing a 2/4 drop on mine instead of a 2" drop in the back like my original plans were.

Groundforce 2/3. It's the only one I could find for a 4x4Originally Posted by Laramie1997

I dont use my truk to tow. I would feel comfortable towin a couple of mowers with mine though. Just not with the wheels.Originally Posted by moosefire66
How does it tow with the lowering kit? I've been thinking about lowering mine but I do lawn maintenance and don't want it to be a hassle.

Please excuse my ignorance but what exactly is the point in lowering your truck and then putting bigger wheels on it? Not trying to crap in your thread but I truly don't understand the idea behind it.

It's just a personal preference. There is no idea behind it. It's the same idea of somebody lifting a truck and putting big mudders on it and then driving it up and down the highway and never takin it off road. different strokes for different folks I guessOriginally Posted by ArkHemi

Yea, it's just what you like in terms of how the truck appears. In my eyes, the 4th gen ram looks better lowered than it does sitting stock or lifted 4". I never thought I would say that considering my previous tastes, but these trucks just don't look right sitting higher than stock and they look gorgeous when they are dropped down low.

hey i have a couple questions for you or anyone who might have the answer, i have the 09 CC 2wd, does the 4x4 sit higher stock? Anny issues with your turning radius? do u know if they make a tire with a little more sidewall like a 35? i had 22" 35s on my charger and i cant see myself going into a truck with a 30, but for this gen, i feel 26" is the way to go..

4x4 does sit higher stock. Now that I have lowered it it sits about the same as a 2 wheel drive. Maybe a little lower in the back. As far as turn radius my 26's only scrub with the steering wheel turned 100%. So very little problems with that. It's actually the width and offset of the wheels that cause the scrub not the height of them. And yes they make a 35 series tire that has more side wall. 4th gen trucks are absolutely a perfect match for that street look!!Originally Posted by aktrite28
