Rail Caps
I think the Dee Zee parts have been available for several years for the RAM.
As you can see from the pic I posted the top of the bed rail is not something you could reasonably cover over without major body work. If you want to put bedliner over the rails your best bet would probably be to buy the smooth Dee Zee rail caps and make sure they're mounted solidly, then Line-X over them. Otherwise just buy the rail caps from Dee Zee and use them as is or get the dealer to warranty your stock caps. Even if they aren't under warranty they are pretty cheap to buy if you needed to replace them that way. Doesn't seem like that many people have problems so if you bought a new set of stock ones they would probably solve your issue. See, lots of options... just none that involve totally removing the caps.
