Default 4.56 vs 4.10

I had a 2009 hemi crew cab that came with 3.21's (2wd). I swapped 'em for some 4.10's. It was a nice improvement, however not as drastic as i had hoped for. I live in austin in the hill country and I will say that I actually did see a improvement in mpg's. I now have a 2wd 2010 with all the bells and whistles. Love these trucks.....
Came with the 3.55 gears. I want to possibly go with 4.56's. Anyone have a 4th gen hemi 2wd with 4.56? I will continue to run stock tire size with my cooper ltz's. i still had plenty of room in overdrive with the 4.10's. think the 4.56 would be perfect. thoughts...????????

to be honest with you, i dont see any need to go that big unless you were running some massive tires

Just worried about overkill, i guess. Like I said, the 4.10 was enjoyable but still had plenty of room in overdrive. It seems there are a lot of 3rd gen guys with 4.56 running on stock size tires that love it. What would be different from 3rd gen to 4th gen?

I had 3.55 beFore and they were brutal. I'm running 456 now and will never look back. Of course I'm running 35', but with those gears I never had any better mileage. I'm Doing about 15.7 mpg on the highway but that's also with superchips milexs tune. Towing Is a new gAme now I can actually use all my gears. NEver tried with stock tires yet I can see it screaming a bit but I think at 60mph shed be around. 2200 rpms. Will intice u to drive the speed limit.
