I know when I was looking into subs for my 07 quad cab I was doing the same as you. then I met with a buddy and hes certified, doing it this way is the "cheaper" way to get things done. Not saying its a bad thing, but I just want things done right and not thrown together. There also become issues with port sizes and box dimensions. Problem is each sub, NEEDS the box dimensions to be within the scope dimensions of each sub. WHICH might I add is different for every sub, and now if your looking at ports those dimensions change again. I also don't know if I would trust what this EBAY seller is providing. Without the correct sizes to match your subs you do risk bad sound, not to mention uneven pressure on your subs.
15s? Your never going to fit them under the seat unless you re-design the whole rear. THAT WILL COST $$$$ If you looking at 12" subs be ready to raise the seat, if you don't want to raise the seat, kiss 12s goodbye. That is if you are looking at something like the Type x or R. NOW if you are looking at doing the R shallow mounts 12s are possible, that's what I did in my 07, with a custom (SEALED) fiberglass box. Ported was not an option due to the lack of space. They do sound great pump out good sound, but you said you listen to rap? NOT good for you, they are built to beat hard and fast, basically lots of alternative rock! If you want the low freq, your not going to get it out of the shallow mounts. You have to go to a Type R or X, by doing that the magnet gets bigger and you cant fit them under. You probably could fit 10s in there, but I don't know if you will get a proper port out of them, my instinct tends to think no but I could be wrong. You can def fit 2 ported 8s in the back, but I don't know if it will provide that volume that you want.
My best opinion is take it in to have it looked at, at a professional installer. They go to school to do what they do and they just know what the "safe" options are. Not to mention the technology in these new trucks are getting to be SOO crazy that installing your own sound system is not just hooking up the remote line and the power from the bat! You might pay a little bit more to have an installer do it, but it will be done right, and best thing is warranty. You don't get that if you do it yourself. Not here in CANADA anyways
The other thing is are you upgrading your deck? Thats something you might have to consider too because im not sure if these new decks come with any RCA outputs, not to mention a 12V control.
I might have gone a little overboard, sorry if I did, but I just like things done right. Some people like to throw things together, it definitely shows tho. Your choice! Hope it helps a little bit!

that is some good info and dont worry you didnt say too much, i dont think a custom box is necessary in my situation {wich is my plan B} since plenty of companies make fitted boxes already, and im not building my system for show just for better sound, ive had some show condition systems before, but now i just want a decent rattle my rearview system, not a rattle the neighbors windows system lol....yes 15s are def outta the question. and 12s maybe, i stuck between Alpine typr r 10s or Type R shallow 12s, i figure if i go with shallows, then 12s should definetly fit and alpine claims same power on those shallows however, its twice the price!$$$ i will definetly go to my fav shop to see what they recomend, as for rcas, ther is an adapter"hi to low converter" available for those who choose to keep there og head units that are used for adding aftermarket amp/subs. But i found a company who makes an adapter for the unit that allow for audio/video in/outputs plus takes away the limiter that doesnt allow dvds to play while ur driving.
