Default dB Performance Exhaust

I'm very excited to say I just purchased a dB exhaust for my truck. I bought the dual rear exit system that will go under the existing bumper cutouts. I can't wait to hear my Ram growl like it should!

I have a Mufflex DODM14 system at the moment if anybody is interested in buying it. PM me if you'd like to buy it once I install the new dB system

post back on the sound difference. I would not mind a more mellow and deeper tone. The magnaflow is OK and the mufflex kit was perfect for a quick install in the driveway. I like the free flow magnaflow but my 05 Lariat had a Borla system that I liked the tone better.

I agree, I liked the mufflex kit as a cheap and quick way to get some rumble through the tailpipes when I first purchased the truck but now that I've owned it for a good 5 months I'm ready to step it up to a true catback system that will sound a little more aggressive than the 14" mufflex kit with the factory resonators.

The db exhaust has a bit more bark then the magnaflow system. I had the muffled 18 on my truck and went with the db system this spring and absolutely love it. It is more raspy then the magnaflow which is what I was looking for and is quiet as stock while cruising down the road

Do you have any videos of your db exhaust? That's what I was hoping to hear. I like the mufflex 14" kit but it doesn't have a whole lot of sound variation regardless of throttle increase. It sounds nice and refined but I'm just looking for that little extra rasp.

can any of you with the db get some inside videos while driving? i've seen plenty outside, but I'd really like to see how it is inside, because I find it very hard to believe there's no drone while cruising

Believe it.....set the cruise and you don't notice it anymore than the stock system.

I tried a few different mufflers, etc and came to the db. Love it. Exactly what I wanted. Not overpowering, noticeable when on the pedal but no drone. I even went back and turned the MDS back on and I still don't notice much of a difference.
